I need to take some pictures before too much longer

I won't say of what... but just that it's very worth a blog entry... this is to get the nagging going if they haven't been taken by Saturday night

Is it because even being dead for almost 40 years, he's still a better leader than you'll ever dream of being?

Having watched this episode (and most of them, I like the Boondocks in every form)... I think what made it truly great was how uncomfortably true it was.

Mental note to self, you need to get yourself a post card sent into PostSecret...

But I find this one so fascinating...

1. They have a t-shirt that I'm so about getting.

2. A nice shiny penny to the person who guesses the winner...

3. Have a few things backlogged... hopefully I'll get home earlier tomorrow night to knock them down

4. Does it just seem stupid to me that I made 50 stops at work today before lunch (which I took early for me at 1:30 Knox time)... and had 40 of them not home?

5. This driver has two customers calling his manager about him and another out there that punched him in the face the last time he stopped

6. Is there anything more useless than E! Golden Globe coverage?

7. I finally broke down and bought a PS2 on Monday.

8. Three new icons. I may have to become a paying user to add a few more. Of my three existing icons, which one should go?

People are always complaining about large corporations. But when they do something positive they should be commended. Take MasterCard for example. Sunday night, after the Colts' loss, it started running a new Peyton Manning "D-CAF" spot showing various bloopers he made during filming. And then the ad closes with the line: "Not being perfect … priceless." Absolutely. Awesome. The fact that they had that cued up waiting for the Colts to lose, well … feel free to raise my interest rate to 29.99 percent, MasterCard. I'll pay anything you ask.

I called it didn't I?

So Mr. Manning... I have this for you:

Well, I'm no longer assigned to a route for Schwan's Home Services. Mind you I know am basically the depot bitch, but the pay is better and I don't have to deal with being out until 10 at night for $45 a day.

Haven't missed a playoff game prediction yet... but the last two times I had this run... the Colts did me in... so guess what, Peyton, I'm picking you to win tomorrow. Blow it and I will stand on the steps of the statehouse with a petition to name you the most overrated quarterback to ever play in Indiana (I'm sure that Rick Mirer would be on the top of that petition)... in case you're wondering, I picked the Panthers over the Bears too

I also have the Q101 top 101 lists... going to take my time with those because I haven't figured out the right approach yet... stupid writer's block.

Dead pool rules coming tomorrow.

Then there is this, which begs to be mocked.

Wow, it's amazing what ethnic cleansing will get you.

Speaking of ethnic cleansing...

The Dead Pool will have a formal announcement this weekend.

Expect simple, and hopefully not another tie. Maybe more people too.

Twenty choices. No wild-cards or anything like that.

I'll get it together Friday night.

I'd take this over Ryan Seacrest any day, and every day.

And this isn't about the Cremaster Cycle.

Dead Pool Announcement coming probably tomorrow.

1) Went out with EMG and sister (RMG) and a couple of other people (one of who I kind of remember) tonight... rather cool and fun

2) Apparently TF (AKA, She Who Shall Not Be Named) got married... last (Tuesday) night... EMG talked to her at Northside post-wedding

3) When did the Franklin House become a respectable bar?

4) I swear that O.A.R. once played the Night Owl.
